The Mouse Wheel Update

We are pleased to announce an update for all Auburn Sounds plug-ins:

  • Couture v1.10
  • Graillon v3.2
  • Inner Pitch v2.1
  • Lens v1.4
  • Panagement v2.8
  • Renegate v1.6
  • Selene v1.1

This free maintenance update enhances speed, compatibility, and adds a few features. Reading time: 1 min.

1. New Features

1.1. Mouse wheel support

All knobs, sliders, switches, and most other widgets now support the mouse wheel for changing parameters.

1.2. Graillon I2 mode

Graillon I2 mode replaces I1 mode, as I1 has had a bug since its introduction. Sound quality should be superior for most sources, especially when pitching down.

1.3 Auburn OS v0.2

Auburn OS v0.2 boots faster and uses less CPU than before.

Every plug-in gets its own unique loading screen, but also re-harmonized color palette for both the user manual and the console.

For more usability, the preset browser has a new back button on top of the list of presets. Navigation in menu now can be done with left and right arrows.

1.4 Larger maximum size

Plug-ins whose maximum size was a bit small now have expanded UI scaling:

  • Couture
  • LENS
  • Panagement
  • Renegate

(Other plug-ins were already larger).

Improves immersion on larger displays such as 1440p 100% DPI.

2. Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the UI would not appear when using the CLAP format with Bitwig on Linux.
  • Selene's damping sliders have improved behavior and no longer jump on click.
  • Improved legibility for small text in Selene.
  • Fixed a lack of keyboard input when using the VST3 format with REAPER on Windows.
  • The Panagement nag screen no longer appears on top of AuburnOS in the Free Edition.
